Very early paper or parchment fan of the period, Louis XV, hand painted in gouache, pen & ink portraying angels with young cupids in the heavenly white clouds against the palest of blue backgrounds. The exquisite scene is framed with meticulously hand painted borders. Expensively presented under anti-glare glass in a fine gilt frame worthy of this incredible work of art. Whoever the artist was, he/she was in a class of their own.
