A very unusual round Chinese bowl that is hand decorated throughout with flowers, fish and scroll work in dark blue against an off white / celadon glazed background.
The edges of the bowl are indented and the base with a single and unusual ruffle above the foot area. The foot area is highly decorated with scroll work, a six character 'Ming' seal/signature and inner rim and inner rim with two concentric circles.
This bowl is based on an earlier Chinese design, Ming and probably early/mid 20th. Century.
Base /foot smooth to touch.
