One of the largest hand painted Oriental fans we have seen spanning 5.5 feet across and 40" tall!
This decorative golden wall fan is made from black lacquer, bamboo, paper and ink/paints and depicts a traditional Chinese scene of two exotic colourful long tailed phoenix birds perched on a rock amongst trees, red, pink and white chrysanthemums. All carefully hand painted over a rich gold background.
Signed in ink, top left by the artist, with his seal/chop.
Original Chinese label with serial number on the top of the black lacquer side.
Super piece for large walls/spaces that need a bit of eye catching art.
Reverse is plain with tabs for hanging.
