Extremely elegant, fine and rare Hepplewhite period work or occasional table with drawer. This piece exhibits the highest level of craftsmanship from the period. Hand crafted from solid mahogany with flame mahogany veneer, cross banding, and ebony/satinwood string inlay. Beneath the hinged lid is an open storage compartment with a secret locking drawer below. Has original lock and brass pin (which locks the drawer), and a newer working key.

Circa 1790 - 1810. English.
Condition is very good for age. This well taken care of piece has expected minor repair & loss. In addition, the top has a slight warp as seen mainly on the right hand side in the photo details.
