Rare form 'Shoe Shine' Foot Stool in solid cherry wood with upholstered foot rest and seat in black. Nicely carved reeded body, fine moldings and elaborate swirling cut-out carving on feet. Upholstered with a black heavy duty damask fabric - useful storage box on top side. These days this can be used as a foot rest, a stool, makes a great gift, or as originally intended - either in a store or in the home.

Circa 1860.
Condition is good for age with typical expected minor repairs, surface imperfections, and wear to fabric (See Photos).
