Superb original painting which portrays a traditonally clad Persian couple on horseback with deer against a mountainous scene. The symbolic and suggestive hand painted panel is on bone or some similar hard material. Presented under glass within a terrific stone mosaic outer frame in burgundy, gold and black with an inner border of royal blue, green and brown against a white background. String inlay throughout. No markings Mid 20th Century. Condition is very good with some minor repair to frame.
