Traditional and elegant Japanese ever popular double gourd form vase with a lovely monochrome Royal Blue crackle glaze. A continuous fine leaf and flower design is carved into the piece in low relief. Signed on the underside with numerous difficult-to-read impressed and incised markings - by the artist and probably the studio where it was made in Japan. Excellent condition. This would look beautiful with a few elegant flowers in it. Vintage. 1950s to 1990s.
