Elegant, slim line carved solid rosewood plant stand or pedestal in classic Ming style. The waisted top with inset panel over a carved skirt. The wood is satin smooth and mature, free to cracks which newer pieces are subject to. The legs with deep fluted corners. The shaped stretchers and feet emphasise the overall Ming look. Suitable for displaying busts, statue, vases, ornaments or whatever you choose. No markings. Mid 20th Century. Condition is excellent. 30" high x 12 1/4" x 12 1/4". 9 pounds.
