Massive 20th. Century Chinese Republic Enamel Over Brass 1000 Flower & Lotus Pond Floor Vase 30"

A huge and rare Chinese enamel over brass floor vase - gentle and summery pastel colours throughout. Pink, green, yellow and blue flowers and auspicious fruits of all kinds and shapes adorn this traditional brass vase.
The body is baluster shaped with a single exposed brass band engraved with a Greek key/fret pattern.
Both the neck and foot have pretty decorative borders, the top of yellow and black interlinked ruyi. The base band is a elegant blue and white ring of lotus petals from which the whole vase design emanates upwards into a mass of flowers from the pond theme below them.
A truly unique piece of enamel work that we estimate was hand made mid 20th Century.
Due to it's size it is quite a rare Chinoiserie piece and certainly a focal point in any room.
