A matched set of very fine hand painted reticulated white porcelain plates in rich vibrant enamels. These intricate plates were made for the American market in early China probably 18th. Century.
Intricate multiple hand painted and gilt work borders surround the cental panel which depict turkey or pheasant hunting with pointer dogs. The early portrayal of the Western figures & landscape is quite interesting to look at. A lot of skill was required to paint these beautiful borders.
18th century, Qianlong style.
Antique. Made 19th/20th century.
Condition is excellent.
No hallmarks.
These cabinet plates or can be hung on a wall.
