Antique Rose Medallion tureen or serving dish of the highest quality. Careully hand painted inside and out, with rich enamels which are thick and colorful. The painter has portrayed people gathering in their residence or garden area, butterflies, pheonix birds, fruits & flowers, auspicious objects and gold highlights throughout. Elongated rectangular shape. Berry shaped gilt handle or finial. The Rose Medallion style has gained much popularity recently - this is a beautiful example of such, correct in every way.
