Traditional fine Chinese demilune table or console with a hand painted/etched scene on the top portraying a large gathering in an elegant terraced garden setting that includes a variety of trees. Children are riding a playful and a mythical kilin.  Borders on the top are decorated with scrolls and flowers, as are the legs and stretcher.  They also have traditional Buddhist symbols & lotus flowers.  As the table is finished all around, it makes the piece very versatile as far as positioning goes. Would make a great display or coffee table, lamp or end table, pedestal or stand, or place it below a long mirror on a wall.
No markings.  Primary colours are red, black and olive/green, some blues, beiges and pale yellows.
Condition is good for age with minor loss and honest repairs.
