This beautiful Japanese style cabinet or pedestal stand features a square upper section with a useful drawer over a tapered lower section cupboard with hinged door. The piece is profusely decorated with superb hand painted scenes of auspicious red crowned cranes in natural settings of pine trees against a wonderful craquelured gold leaf background.
Contrasting black molding with gold decoration.
Perfect in either modern or traditional settings, corners, hallways and for displaying either plants, ferns, ornaments or statues.
Retains "Made in China" label on underside - for the Japanese market.
Condition is very good with some minor surface wear and touch up.
