Deeply scalloped around the edges, sitting 5" off the wall to give the design depth and presence.
The mirror is firstly surrounded by a mosaic of red/ruby red small glass squares, then the frame itself is inset with thousands of small pieces of golden bronze glass shards in a random pattern.
Made prior to 2003 with catalogue no. 0103 on reverse.
There is a little normal wear on the back, not visible as this would lie against the wall. This mirror is a statement piece - weight around 30lbs. The sheer amount of work in this large mirror is amazing.
