A rare antique heavy hardwood rectangular display stand on small Ming style feet. Rich dark brown in colour, this piece is inlaid with pure silver wire on all four sides. The pattern of which resembles the auspicious 'ruyi' shape and scrolling work. Perfect for displaying statues, vases or urns or whatever is required.
This is a old piece - Late Qing Dynasty. Not only is this rare but it is not often found in this size.
The weight is approximately 6lbs. Display area:14x7" - will accommodate an item of this size and smaller.

Very good overall. Acceptable age related wood shrinkage in top. Shows signs of previous resoration.
