An interesting set of 6 Miniature Porcelain Busts of Napoleon and his Generals by Rudolph Kammer.
A very fine set of 6 busts depicting Napoleon and his Generals in full military regalia.
Each figure supported by a gold / gilt plinth.
The figures include Napoleon Bonaparte, Jean-de-Dieu Soult, Jozef Poniatowski, Jean Lannes, Prince Eugene of Savoy, & Joachim Murat.
Each is signed on the underside with the factory hallmark in underglaze blue and labeled with the identity of the figure, lower front.
These would make a super gift or present for those hard to buy for 'men', or a great addition to a military collection.

Info about the maker: Rudolf Kammer was born in 1935, in Rudolstadt, Munsing (Thurigen), Germany. Rudolf attended grammar school there from 1942-1950. From 1950 to 1953, he completed his training to become a decorative painter. Rudolf then attended ABF-Hochschule fur Bildende Kunst in Dresden, as a student of Otto Griebel. From 1956 to 1957, he studied at the Hochschule fur Grafik and Buchkunst under Professors Elisabeth Voigt and Wolfgang Mattheuer. Rudolf completed his diploma in painting during 1957 to 1964, at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. Rudolf became a member of the "Nouvelles Tendances" group. In 1983, he founded the Ernst Geitlinger Gesellschaft e.V. Rudolf Kammer's works have been displayed in numerous individual and group exhibitions.
