Gorgeous black lacquer and cloisonné Chinese stool drinks or side table with a glass top. This is a generously sized piece and can also be used as a stool.
The highlight of this is the colourful cloisonné panel inset into the top - it portrays an auspicious and majestic red crowned crane with its' white wings outstretched surround by traditional Buddhist style lotus flowers on a bright blue background. Long life peaches on a branch are held by the bird.
Supported on five ruyi shaped legs decorated with further flowers (orange and blue) and scroll work. Gold greek key pattern surrounds the top edge.
This can double up as a stool, side or drinks table, a pedestal or stand. It comes with its own glass top.
