Rare antique Chinese hand painted white porcelain plaque or tile portraying Zhang Guo Lao (one of the eight Daoist immortals). The traditional Chinese scene is painted in rich colourful enamels, portraying the immortal riding his donkey and is accompanied by a youngster who carries supplies. They are suspended between the sea and pastel coloured clouds. Apparently they are on a journey to a mountain-top temple.
Sold unframed. Buyer can choose frame or stand to match their decor.
The back marked with the auspicious number "13".
Condition is excellent, the colours superb.
