English Wedgwood Black Basalt Complete Tea & Dessert Service for Eight (47 pieces)

A very sophisticated black basalt tea and dessert service for 8 people.  A beautiful set! The complete service comes with 47 pieces including 12 dessert plates, teapot & cover, sugar & cover, creamer, 8 regular teacups, 8 regular saucers, 8 demitasse cups, and 8 demitasse saucers.  The interiors are glazed.

Each piece is hallmarked with the Wedgwood factory mark on the underside.

Condition is excellent with little to no wear.

Vintage 20th Century.

Teapot is 6 3/4" high x 7 1/4" x 4 1/2". Dessert plates are 7 5/8" diameter x 5/8" high. Regular cups are 2 1/4" high x 4 1/8" x 3 3/8". Demitasse cups are 2 1/8" high x 2 3/4" x 2".
