A set of four mixed mini or post card size woodblock prints on washi paper by Utagawa Hiroshige, Japanese: 歌川 広重 born Andō Hiroshige (安藤 広重; (1797 – 12 October 1858), was a famous Japanese ukiyo-e artist, considered the last great master of that tradition.

This set includes four prints from the series: 53 Stations of the Tokaido Road
#16 Night Snow at Kambara - horizontal
#27 View of Akiba Mountain (Kite flying)
#38 Snow at Yamanaka Village - vertical
#47 Wind Rain and Thunder - vertical

Desired baren marks are visible, delicate bokashi, above average bleed through. These smaller post card size prints were made after WWll in Japan for locals and foreigners alike, as a momento of their visit. The detail is incredible and the artist allows us a look back in time via these little portals of artwork. Wood block is an very time consuming and exacting art. Very collectable now and in very good condition.
