A very handsome and well proportioned Savonarola armchair skilfully inlayed with both brass and copper motifs throughout. A very elegant design, highlighted with ornate leaf and scroll work on the back rest down to each and every individual leg support, as well as the arms and stretchers. The back rest lifts off and the seat 'rods' with solid brass finials pull out so that the chairs can be folded up and stored. (We have not attempted to do this!). A stunning chair - possibly the nicest Savonarola chair we have seen. If side tables are required we have a pair for sale that are in the same style: Inlaid Asian Teak Side or Drinks Tables With Glass Tops, a Pair. A good seat height of 22", generously proportioned throughout and very stable. Finish with a cushion of your own choice if required.
