From the area of Jingdezhen, a yellow Monochrome vase with fine pate sur pate white glaze decoration of little birds and blossoming flower branches that extend upwards toward the neck area. The vase is translucent, the white pate 'lifts' off the surface, giving a three dimensional effect. Clear Jindezhen kiln six character mark in blue underglaze. A pretty piece of a lovely lemon colour with fine workmanship. Perfect condition. Mid 20th Century, China. Dia 5", H9".
