Vintage Pala style heavy (23 pounds) cast stone figure of a seated Buddha in high relief. Very nice hand finished detaiing on this particular example. Buddha is seated in peaceful repose on a lotus leaf platform, atop a smaller deity.and a pair of lions.
Has hook on verso for mounting to the wall if required. Can be displayed either indoors or outdoors in the garden, yard or patio.
Has obtained a rich patination with age and looks absolutely lovely.
Vintage, probably mid-20th century.
Condition is very good, nicely weatherised. The second photograph is taken in daylight.
