Vintage hand made "Hapao Saucer" Basket made from split rattan with a spiral 'twisted' rattan core and carved decorative side handles. The good sized piece has a natural organic stained finish - by the Benguet people of mountainous Benguet Province, Luzon Island. Low in profile, circular/round in shape, it's an eye catching piece that was once used for holding household items and can double up as a tray or fruit bowl. Quite sturdy, original tag still in place - approximately 35 years old.
