A vintage mid 20th Century silk panel from China depicting '100' children at play. These boys are riding oxen, swimming & boating, resting on leaves, flying kites, holding lanterns and having mock sword battles to name a few activities. These panels were originally given to Chinese couples 'ensure the family lineage'. Embroidered on gorgeous red silk, surrounded by a mixed green and blue brocade edging and border. Gossamer light olive green silk backing with original 'Made in China' red label.
