Eye catching set of 3 gold 'Kinpaku' wall panels portraying various birds perched on rocks, bamboo & weeping willow trees in a landscape setting of traditional Asian or Chinese style. Peacocks, jays, blue birds, Mandarin Ducks, cockerels and smaller birds abound.
Meticulously hand painted over gold leaf on a black lacquerware board.
Chinese design brass hooks at top for hanging.
One panel retains "Made in China" label on verso.
Condition is very good with expected extremely minor surface wear.
1970 - 1980's. One of the nicest sets of wall panels we've seen in a while!
Each panel is 36" x 12" x 3/4".
