The Emporer's Red Hat - Bob Kopec Decorative Feather and Wood Sculpture
The Emporer's Hat - a eye-catching sculpture of exotic wood and feathers by Bob Kopec, Florida craftsman. Hand crafted sculpture made of highly varnish wenge and maple in 1990. Signed on the underside. The piece is reminiscent of a Chinese Emporer's Hat and has a soft moving 'object' inside of it which can best be described as 'gently bouncing'. A most unusual piece.
(We have an ancestral portrait for sale on Chairish, and the male figure is wearing an almost identical hat! Chinese Ancestor Painting of a High Ranking Gentleman)
