Early French dining chairs consisting of a matched pair of armchairs and a complimentary matched set of 4 side chairs, upholstered together in a high-quality beige, sky blue, gold/orange, and pale rose. striped brocade fabric. Hand made from high quality, mature wood u pegged mortise and tenon joinery.
This 200+ year-old set when viewed is dripping with French country charm. They are beautiful and will look very classy in many a home. **Please note that the slip seats are very easily reupholstered if desired - for example - an off white / cream plain heavy linen would look super.
The chairs have been well taken care of with numerous honest repairs, their condition typical of the period. The fabric is like new. They are comfortable, solid and ready for service.
