Rare vintage tube AM radio with original hand painted Chinoiserie case. A pair of hinged doors opens for access to radio controls and speaker. The outside is decorated throughout with orange, gold and beige flowers / foliage and the whole rests on small wood feet..
Marked "Standard Broadcast".
Condition is very good with expected surface wear in places. Radio powers up but only produces static from the speaker. The tubes and electronics are all intact and it probably just needs a replacement tube. A great project for a radio buff.
