Chinese Qianlong Baluster Porcelain 'Ladies in the Willow Garden' Vase & Wood Stand 12.5"
Fine Chinese porcelain baluster shaped vase marked "Qianlong Period Make" from the Early People's Republic period (1949-1966), probably 1950s. Colorful turquoise, pink and yellow upper and lower lappet borders with ruyi shapes. The body depicts three female figures in an outdoor genre scene with narrative/poem. Mounted on rosewood stand.
Translation: Walking slowly in the spring garden, the light wind blowing, amongst the willow trees, young ladies chatting.
