**Free Shipping.  Mid 20th Century Chinese ginger jar in the manner of the Yongzheng reign with multiple vignettes painted against a 'powder blue ground'. Carefully hand painted in famille rose overglaze enamels, the jar depicts interesting scenes of rural everyday activities including harvesting rice, picking fruit, preparing a meal, and more. A portal into days gone by in China.
The underside bears the Qianlong reign mark in underglaze blue in two concentric circles..
Acquired from a collector of fine antique Chinese porcelains who has amassed such over the last 40 years.

The Yongzheng Emperor, born Yinzhen, was the fifth Emperor of the Qing dynasty, and the third Qing emperor to rule over China proper, reigned from 1722 to 1735.
