**Free shipping  A very lovely and finely carved Chinese White Jade Figure of Guan Yin. Made in the middle of the 20th Century this gorgeous piece embodies all that this Goddess stands for. She stands on a lotus base floating above the sea - a common posture for buddhas and boddhisattvas. The halo indicates her sacredness or spiritual elevation. The robe is skilfully carved with its' flowing drapes that swirl around the statue. The body is correctly proportioned and a true representation of the buddha and boddhisattva aspects.
The jade is of the finest white and piece weights approx. 1.5lbs.
Acquired from a collector of Chinese porcelains/objects who has amassed such over the last 40 years.

Mid 20th. Century, possibly earlier.
