A pair of fine, solid hand carved wood wall shelves or corbels in the form of opposing eagles.
Each is carved from single pieces of wood and the shelves applied. The wings of the eagle support the shelf which has detailed edging.
Attractive "white washed/distressed paint" finish.
These shelves (Sconces/Corbels) are a good size for most display purposes (11"x7")
One has the Maitland-Smith label still attached to the back.
Last Quarter 20th Century, 1980s or 1990s.
Condition is very good some minor expected imperfections.
