A pair of very old Chinese hand painted porcelain bottle vases depicting small boys playing in a traditional landscape dressed in traditional clothing. Long narrow necks taper down to a bulbous body. Each is signed in red with black calligraphy verse on the body.
The traditional narrative verse will describe the visible finely hand painted scene on each vase. A charming set. Made late 19th. Century, unsigned. Acquired from the estate of a former USA senator and Florida governor Spessard Lindsey Holland

No chips or cracks.  Some discolouration.
