Fu Lu Shou (福禄寿): Alternative known as the Three Stars or San Xing
Extremely fine naturalistic solid rosewood carving of the God of Longevity, holding his staff. The figure is skillfully carved from a single, solid piece of wood with great care and superb form. The robe especially with all it's attention to detail and swirls. Very tactile.
This is a large piece at over 17" tall.
No markings.
Circa 1920s.
Condition is very good with some expected signs of age and minor wood checking in places.
This statue will not dissapoint upon arrival.
