Authentic early-mid 20th century crackle glazed pottery figure of a horse with saddle. Done in the manner and style of the Chinese T'ang Dynasty by Italian sculptor Ugo Zaccagnini, Italian, 1868-1937. The studio made horse is a light mustard yellow, highlighted with rich emerald greens and light brown decorative parade style tack.
This particular horse has one of the most desirable palettes of colours. Signed in ink (Z Italy) and name in pencil on underside as shown. Hand crafted between 1937 - late 1950's in Florence. A stunning decorative piece that is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: 16" x 6 1/2" x 15 1/2" tall. Felted base to protect surface on which piece rests. Condition: Very good with no chips, cracks, or repair
