Attractive Chinese Rose Medallion Planter in unusual quatrefoil form.
Superbly painted in rich, colorful enamels. The medallions painted with traditional interior Chinese scenes of a noble with his attendants, over white glaze. The remaining body painted in colorful scrolls, butterflies, and foliage against a gold background. Greek key design in gold at top rim. All very auspicious symbols and full of good fortune according to Chinese tradition.

Condition is excellent. Typical firing flaws present.
