Beautiful early antique European hand-wrought tea kettle with turned brass finial and rare hinged rat-tail spout cover. Presented in as-found unpolished condition with rich & beautiful colour/patina. Loads of charm and character in this nicely shaped piece. Impressed mark on handle which appears to read "01". In good rustic condition with expected surface corrosion and minor scattered indentations. No holes or cracks. Water tight. Early 19th Century. This is a very old piece suitable for firesides, kitchens or wherever you choose to display it.
