Antique Chinese Famille Jaune Graduated Square Serving Trays (Plates) With Dragons, Early Republic Period
A rare set of Chinese Famille Jaune porcelain graduated square serving trays or plates with truncated corners. Hand enameled central scene depicting a pair of opposing 4 claw scaled dragons (one green and the other blue) in the clouds, circling the flaming pearl, framed by multiple elaborate geometric borders, including a greek key pattern and vignettes with flowers and birds.
Each is stamped "CHINA" in red.
Age: c. 1920's Early Republic
Condition: Very good with only very minor loss to enamel in places.
Dimensions: Larger one 7 1/4" x 7 1/4" x 1". Smaller one 5 1/8" x 5 1/8" x 3/4". Total weight 1 pound.
