A pair of very old Qing Dynasty carved wood panels in red and gold. The hand carved, polychromed pieces have parcel-gilt highlights portraying scenes from Chinese opera. They are interesting to look at - note the floor tiles, head-dresses, the servant peeking around the corner and the ornate room dividers.
Presented in later pine frames with brass Ming style fixtures at top for wall mounting.
Sculptural wall panels are great for those small spaces.
No markings.
