1930s Japanese Bronze Usubata Ikebana Vase
Comprised of two parts. The top having pins in the well to pierce the stem of the flowers allowing water to be absorbed by the flowers much longer than in any traditional vase. The bottom with handles and resting on tripod feet. A gorgeous piece of Asian workmanship.
Impressed on the underside of each piece "Made in Japan".
Age 1920s to 1940s.
Condition is very good with expected minor tarnish and signs of age.
