19th Century Old Paris Porcelain Bowl With Hand Painted Winter Scene
Old Paris porcelain bowl hand made in France in the late 19th Century. Square form with scalloped gilt rim. Carefully hand painted with a icy winter landscape at the bottom of the bowl which depicts a lakeside home next to a frozen lake with a church in the background. The interior sides are painted with floral sprays in gold against a white glaze alternating with amber glaze sections in the corners.
Hallmarked with impressed marks as shown together with decorators marks painted in gold.
Condition is very good with only minor gold rubbing.
Late 19th century.
