A netsuke style coiled auspicious snake resting on a platform with a symbolic long life peach, very intricately hand carved in China. Made from a nut that resembles ivory in texture and colour. Attention to detail throughout the entire piece - signed by the artist on the underside of the peach. Bought in Hong Kong in 1980's. Great gift for those born in the year of the snake.
