**Free Shipping.  Very fine and inspirational Chinese silk embroidered panel. Exquisitely hand stitched silk design in coral, peach, and beige with silver outlining against an aubergine background depicting a single lotus flower in perfect form rising above the raging water below. This semi-abstract design has very deep spiritual significance in China. The lotus symbolizes harmony and fertility. The idea of a lotus flower rising unstained and pure from the muck at the bottom of the lake has been a source of inspiration in China for many centuries. A simple, understated and very elegant work of art. The right collector will cherish this piece.

The wall hanging is nicely presented in an elegant matted frame under glass.
