A very rare Chinese porcelain teapot with intricate hand painted scenes in rich enamels against a rare blue glaze.  The main body with a wrap-around scene of two dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst the swirling white clouds. Noteably the dragons have 4 claws and incised well deffined scales. The cover has a single dragon chasing the flaming pearl and the shoulder with auspicious bats flying amongst the clouds. Has the original double twist-iron handles. Has the old tea stains around the lid and top rim.
Again, a rare and collectable piece not often seen.
Not hallmarked.
Condition is very good with typical minor rubbing to enamels and a tiny bit of fritting at spout opening.
Age: Qing Dynasty, 19th Century. 
4 3/8" tall x 6" wide (at spout) x 4 1/2" diameter.
